Fabrication is underway on liquid oxygen, liquid hydrogen and related piping for RS-25 engine testing on the A-1 Test Stand at NASA’s Stennis Space Center. Fabrication of the piping presented a design challenge; it has to be threaded through a great deal of other stand equipment and structure. RS-25 engines will power the core stage of NASA’s new Space Launch System, which is being developed to carry humans deeper into space than ever before.
