Integrated Resistance and Aerobic Training Study (Sprint) evaluates the use of high intensity, low volume exercise training to minimize loss of muscle, bone, and cardiovascular function in ISS crewmembers during long-duration missions. About the photo: Expedition 29 Commander Mike Fossum is photographed during the FD115 (Flight Day 115) SPRINT leg muscle self scan. Fossum powered on the USND-2 (Ultrasound 2) and VPC (Video Power Converter) hardware,and connected the VPC to HRF-1 in order to perform this activity.
