Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe (center) joined NASA Goddard Space Flight Center Director Chris Scolese (far right), Congressman Scott Rigell (second from right) and nearly 100 people for the groundbreaking ceremony June 9 for the Wallops Research Park located just outside the gate of the NASA Wallops Flight Facility. The Park is an economic development effort between the Commonwealth of Virginia, Accomack County and the Chincoteague Bay Field Station to foster growth in business, research and educational activities in the area, particularly those related to the core activities at Wallops.Credit: NASA/Brea Reeves
