In the 1960s, the Saturn I first stages for the SA-4, SA-6, and SA-7 missions were assembled by the Fabrication and Assembly Engineering Division at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. These missions were critical for early space science experiments and test flights of Apollo spacecraft, Saturn launch vehicle stages, and lunar modules.
