INCUS (Investigation of Convective Updrafts) is a NASA Earth Venture mission flying three small-satellite atmospheric-science observatories on Firefly Aerospace’s Alpha from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport at Wallops Island. The spacecraft operate in coordinated low-Earth orbit to make rapid-repeat observations of convective storms, measuring updraft behavior and convective mass flux to improve understanding of severe weather and climate processes.
Roscosmos announced that Sputnix company will launch a Soyuz launch vehicle carrying all-commercial satellites from the Vostochny Cosmodrome this September. The payload mentioned so far in several press announcement consist of: small satellites Kinosputnik, KOEN, "MT-LAB", cubesat 6U NPO "Kaisant" with modem "Germes", cubesat 16U NPO "Kaisant" with modem "Gonets".
