The MSFC Disasters team supported stakeholders after severe weather outbreak occurred on 4/10/24 along the Gulf Coast region of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Our partners at FEMA R4 convened remote sensing calls to coordinate with impacted states on any remote sensing needs that they may have in their response. The team had direct requests from the NWS offices in Slidell and Mobile for imagery that could support their ground damage survey efforts. The team was able to provide pre- and post-event imagery that is currently being used to help supplement their analysis.
