NASA is implementing a wide variety of solutions to help meet the needs of federal civilian agencies expressed through the SNWG biennial survey. Currently, 67 SNWG data products are available through Earthdata search, with observables including surface reflectance and disturbance, sea ice, surface water, water quality, sea surface salinity, and more. Most of these products are global in domain. Katrina Virts presented these global solutions at EGU, focusing on NASA’s open science policy which allows these valuable data to be freely available to the global science and applications communities.
