Phoebe Oduor and Eric Anderson from the SERVIR Science Coordination Office hosted Denis Muthike from University of Colorado Boulder for a special seminar on “Combining global engineering, education and research for resilient communities in developing economies.” Muthike was a former Weather & Climate Resilience Lead for SERVIR-Eastern & Southern Africa and has since moved to UC Boulder as a research assistant professor. The teams had discussions on the advances and challenges in monitoring groundwater and climate impacts in East Africa, and on the use of ClimateSERV in university settings.
