Manil Maskey (IMPACT/ST11) participated as a panelist during the Networking and Information Technology Research and Development (NITRD) subcommittee’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) meeting at the White House on 4/10/24. Maskey contributed to the discussion on NASA’s perspectives regarding the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR), where he also serves on the steering committee. Additionally, Maskey addressed questions related to NASA’s contributions to the NAIRR and how it benefits the community. NITRD, the coordinating body for federal R&D, aims to develop and implement secure, advanced IT, high-performance computing, networking, and software solutions for the nation, while promoting public-private partnerships to achieve world-leading IT capabilities.
