As the clouds allowed during the past two months,the Sea-viewing Wide field-of-View Sensor (SeaWiFS) recordedthe changing colors of eastern U.S. and Canadian vegetation.This series of true-color images from the fall of 2000 shows the deciduous forestsof the region change from dark green to bright red and orange,and begin to drop their leaves.
