The SPoRT team consisting of Aaron Naeger, Patrick Duran, and Emily Berndt (ST11), hosted an online meeting with 5 representatives from the AccuWeather team to discuss the TEMPO and TROPICS missions on 3/11/24. Emily Berndt provided a brief overview of the SPoRT project, followed by the latest TEMPO and TROPICS mission updates including science applications presented by Aaron Naeger and Patrick Duran, respectively. The AccuWeather team noted their needs for near real-time data and ArcGIS visualization and analysis tools from the missions. Overall, AccuWeather expressed a high-level of interest in the missions and on having follow-up conversations with the SPoRT team on future coordination efforts.
